Magic Moves Monday (MMM)

Free beginner-friendly meetup, both for adults and kids.

Every Monday at 6:00pm, all year round, except with bad weather. Duration: about 2 hours.

Location: Optus Stadium, Burswood, in front of the Camfield pub.

We will only practise in the area in front of the pub, wish our experienced members happily helping the beginners. We will also set up slalom cones and a skate-cross course.

The event is free and open to everyone, no registration required. Both inline skaters (rollerbladers) and quad skaters (rollerskaters) are welcome.

We also have plenty of skates and protective gear of all sizes to lend for free, if you don't have your own.

Wearing protective gear, including helmet, wrist guards, knee and elbow pads, is highly recommended. This is a casual social event, and each participant is assumed to be responsible for their own safety and that of any minors they may bring along. If you hurt yourself and are unsure about your condition, please actively ask for assistance.

Thursday Roller Pizza Night

Free intermediate-level group skate. You must know how to turn, navigate general street terrain, control your speed, and stop, including on downhill slopes. Always obey traffic signals, skate on the paths, and avoid the road for safety reasons.

Every Thursday at 6:30pm, all year round, except with bad weather. Duration: about 3 hours.

As this is a night-time event, make yourself visible to vehicles on roads and cycling paths: use reflective tape, lights, torch, etc.

Meet at Mindeerup Piazza, Mends Street Jetty in South Perth. Metered parking is on The Esplanade; free parking on Mill Point Road, Queen Street, Stirling Street and Melville Parade. We will either cross the Narrows Bridge, or go towards the Boorloo Bridge, or the Optus Stadium, then we will skate through the city, following different routes each week, often also stopping for ice cream or drinks along the way. At the end of the skate we will return to Mends Street, and sit for food and drinks together. The full path is around 15km and the pace is a light fitness pace.

Saturday Skate@8

Free beginner-friendly group skate.

Every Saturday at 8:00am, all year round, except with bad weather. Duration: about 2 hours.

Meet at the car park in front of the Old Mill on Mill Point Rd, South Perth. There is free parking on Mill Point Rd and at the Old Mill. We'll take a leisurely skate towards Optus Stadium, then return. This is cycling path all the way.

The event is free and open to everyone, no registration required. Both inline skaters (rollerbladers) and quad skaters (rollerskaters) are welcome.

Every Sunday at 8:00am, all year round, except with bad weather. Duration: about 3 hours.

Meet in Russel Square on Parker St, Northbridge. We usually go for a light breakfast either in Subiaco or East Perth, depending on the direction we go from North bridge. This is a casual skate, great way to start the day, we usually skate at a casual pace close to city, so you will need to be able to stop, control your speed and negotiate different surfaces.
